Lovely installation of plantation shutters in Wrexham today. The job included a 3 sided splay bay window and two first floor front windows.
The shutters configuration included 62mm slats in white with ‘Easy Tilt’. This style does not have tilt rods which has the benefits of increased light and ease of cleaning the shutter slats. Positioned on a busy road, the midrail provides a perfect combination of privacy with the lower slats closed and the upper slats opened to let light in to the room.
In the bay window which had three window panels on the front aspect we specified 2 T posts to give individual doors and can then be positioned exactly in line with the window frame posts. Without this feature, the shutter doors would have been slightly out of alignment with the windows. The trim was scribed to allow for the top of the bay window not being level. End result, shutters fitted perfectly and customer delighted.
